Shedville is a small, unincorporated community located in Green Township, within Randolph County, in the state of Indiana in the United States. An "unincorporated community" means it's a group of homes or businesses that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government. Instead, it's part of a larger county or township.
History of Shedville
Shedville has a simple but interesting past. For a time, this community was known by a different name: Brinckley.
A post office was opened in Brinckley in 1881. This was an important place for people to send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for many years. However, it eventually closed its doors in 1901.
