Shermine Shahrivar (born September 17, 1982) is a famous Iranian-German model. She is also known for winning the Miss Europe 2005 beauty pageant.

About Shermine's Early Life and School
Shermine Shahrivar was born in Tehran, Iran. Her family moved to Germany when she was just one year old. She grew up speaking both German and Persian language. She also learned to speak French and English very well. Shermine studied social sciences at university. This means she learned about how societies work and how people interact.
Shermine's Career as a Model
Shermine Shahrivar started her career in beauty pageants. In 2004, she won the title of Miss Germany. The next year, in 2005, she competed in France and won the bigger title of Miss Europe.
She was chosen to host a special event in March 2005. This was the Nowruz celebration in Oberhausen, Germany. Nowruz is a traditional spring festival. This celebration was said to be the biggest in the world. Shermine also hosted a TV show in Germany called Traumpartner TV. She hosted it from December 2004 to August 2005.
