About Sheryl McFarlane
Sheryl McFarlane was born in the Ottawa Valley in Canada. She spent her childhood growing up in Arizona. Since 1974, she has lived on the West Coast of Canada.
Before becoming a full-time author, Sheryl was a teacher. She often visits schools across Canada. There, she talks about writing and children's literature. She also speaks at events about books for young people.
Sheryl studied at the University of British Columbia. She earned a degree in Education.
