Shinichiro Tani (谷 真一郎, Tani Shinichiro, born November 13, 1968) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward. Shinichiro Tani also played one game for the Japan national team.

Shinichiro Tani's Club Career
Shinichiro Tani was born in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, on November 13, 1968. After finishing his studies at the University of Tsukuba, he joined a football club called Hitachi in 1991. This club later became known as Kashiwa Reysol.
During his time with Hitachi/Kashiwa Reysol, the team did very well. They finished in 2nd place in the 1992 and 1994 Japan Football League seasons. This success helped the club get promoted to the J1 League, which is Japan's top football league, in 1995. Shinichiro Tani played for the team until the end of the 1995 season, when he retired from playing professional football.
