Shinya Aikawa's Football Journey
Shinya Aikawa was born in Kamisato, Saitama, Japan, on July 26, 1983. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career in 2002. He joined a team called Consadole Sapporo. This team played in the J1 League, which is the top football league in Japan.
Starting His Professional Career
Shinya Aikawa made his first professional appearance on May 6, 2002. This was in a competition called the J.League Cup. Later that year, he also played in the J1 League. He played in the last four matches of the 2002 season. However, his team, Consadole Sapporo, finished last that year. This meant they were moved down to a lower league, the J2 League.
Becoming a Key Player
Even though his team moved to a lower league, Shinya Aikawa kept working hard. In 2004, he became a regular player for Consadole Sapporo. This means he was one of the main players who started most games. He played very often for the team until 2006.
Moving to a New Team
In 2007, Shinya Aikawa moved to a new team called FC Gifu. This team was in the Japan Football League, which is another league in Japan. He played well for FC Gifu, scoring 4 goals in 8 matches. Because of their good performance, FC Gifu was promoted to the J2 League at the end of the 2007 season.
Retirement from Football
Shinya Aikawa played for FC Gifu in the J2 League during 2008. After that season, he decided to retire from professional football.
