Shohei Abe (阿部 翔平, Abe Shōhei, born 1 December 1983) is a Japanese footballer. He plays as a left-back for Shibuya City FC. Shohei Abe also managed the club during the 2022 season.

Shohei Abe's Football Journey
Starting with Nagoya Grampus
Shohei Abe began his professional football career with Nagoya Grampus in 2006. In his first year, he played in twelve matches. He stayed with this club for eight years. During this time, he played in 226 league games. He helped Nagoya Grampus win the J1 League and the Emperor's Cup.
Moving to Ventforet Kofu
In January 2014, Abe joined Ventforet Kofu. He played for this club for two seasons. He appeared in 75 matches across all competitions. He scored two goals during his time there.
Playing for JEF United Chiba
In January 2016, Shohei Abe moved to JEF United Chiba. He played one season with them. He made 34 appearances in different competitions. He scored one goal for the team.
Back to Ventforet Kofu
In March 2017, Abe returned to his former club, Ventforet Kofu, on a loan. He played 24 league games for Kofu during this loan period. His loan ended in January 2018. The very next day, he officially transferred back to Ventforet Kofu.
Joining Shibuya City FC
On February 18, 2019, it was announced that Shohei Abe had joined Tokyo City FC. This club is now known as Shibuya City FC.

On December 1, 2021, Shohei Abe was officially named the manager of Shibuya City FC. He started this role for the 2022 season.
