Sidiki Diabaté is a talented musician from Mali. He plays the kora, a special African string instrument. Sidiki is also a singer and a music producer. He was born in 1992 in a city called Bamako.

Sidiki comes from a very long line of musicians. His father is the famous kora player Toumani Diabaté. His grandfather, also named Sidiki Diabaté, was a great musician too. Sidiki is part of the 77th generation of his family to be a musician! His family are known as griots. Griots are like storytellers, historians, and musicians all in one. They pass down traditions through music and stories. Many in his family are kora players. For example, his father's cousin Sona Jobarteh is the first woman from a griot family to play the kora. His uncle Mamadou Sidiki Diabaté also plays the kora.
