Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa. It has sent its athletes to compete in the Summer Olympic Games many times since 1968. They have participated in almost every Summer Olympics, except for the games in 1972 and 1976.

Even though many talented athletes from Sierra Leone have competed, the country has not yet won an Olympic medal. Also, no athletes from Sierra Leone have ever competed in the Winter Olympic Games.
