Signal is a small, unincorporated community located in Columbiana County, Ohio, in the United States. What Is Signal's History?
A post office was opened in Signal in the year 1890. This post office helped people send and receive mail in the area for many years. It stayed open for a long time, finally closing its doors in 1959. No one is quite sure how the community got its interesting name, "Signal." The reason behind it is a bit of a mystery!
