First Steps in Music (2002)

After finishing high school, Silvestre Dangond focused completely on his music. He teamed up with an accordion player named Ramón López. They played at parties and small events. In 2002, they released their first album called Tanto para Tí. This album had 12 songs. Around this time, he also became friends with another vallenato singer, Kaleth Morales.

Becoming a National Star (2003–2013)

Silvestre Dangond later met accordionist Juancho De la Espriella through a friend. They both knew about each other but had never talked. They quickly became good friends. A music promoter then suggested they form a musical duo. Their first show together was in the Cesar Department.
