Simbal is a small town located in northern Peru. It is the main town of the Simbal District. This district is part of the Trujillo Province, which is in the La Libertad region. Simbal is about 40 kilometers (25 miles) east of the big city of Trujillo. It is mostly known as a farming area in the Valley of Moche.
