Simon Cheshire facts for kids
Simon Cheshire (born June 1, 1964) is a British author who writes exciting books for young people. He often writes mystery stories and science fiction adventures. He has written over 70 books, including the popular Saxby Smart detective series and the high-tech SWARM spy series. His very first book, Jeremy Brown of the Secret Service, came out in 1997. Many of his books are perfect for kids aged 8 to 12. He also writes for teens, like the funny romantic story Plastic Fantastic. For older teens and adults, he wrote the spooky novel Flesh and Blood. Since 2020, Simon Cheshire has been writing historical horror novels for adults under a different name, Richard Gadz.

Simon Cheshire was born in Leamington Spa, a town in Warwickshire, England. When he was young, his dad was a bus driver and his mom cleaned offices. Simon went to the University of Hull where he studied Philosophy and Psychology. Today, he is married and has a son and a daughter. He lives in Warwick, England.
