The Story of Sinalco
The story of Sinalco began in 1902. A German scientist named Friedrich Eduard Bilz created a special powder called "Bilz Brause." This powder was a type of sherbet that you could mix to make a fizzy drink. He teamed up with a businessman, Franz Hartmann, to sell it.
Soon, other companies started making similar drinks. To stand out, Bilz and Hartmann held a competition to find a new name for their drink. They chose "Sinalco." This name comes from a Latin phrase, sine alcohole, which means "without alcohol." It was a perfect name for their non-alcoholic drink!
Sinalco quickly became one of the first drink brands to be sold all over the world. It was especially popular in places like South America and the Middle East. In 1937, the company registered its famous red circle logo. This logo is still used today.
In the 1950s, Sinalco launched a unique bottle shape. This special bottle was updated again later in the 1990s. While Sinalco Orange was the original flavor, the company now makes many different kinds of soft drinks, including Sinalco Cola. In Germany, Sinalco is one of the most popular soft drinks, right after Fanta and Sprite.

Sinalco drinks are made in many places. For example, in Slovenia, a food technology company called Dana makes Sinalco soft drinks. They have a special agreement with Sinalco International to produce the drinks there. This helps Sinalco reach more people around the globe.
