Sinta Wullur (born November 16, 1958) is a talented musician and composer. She was born in Indonesia and later moved to the Netherlands. Sinta plays the gamelan, a traditional Indonesian instrument, and also the piano. She is also a singer and writes classical music.

About Sinta Wullur's Life
Sinta Wullur was born in Bandung, Indonesia. In 1968, she moved to the Netherlands. She studied music at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam. There, she earned a degree in piano.
Her Musical Training
Sinta also studied how to compose music. Her teachers included famous composers like Ton de Leeuw. Later, she continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. She learned from composers such as Theo Loevendie and Louis Andriessen. Sinta also explored electronic music. She studied gamelan and singing with teachers in Bali and Java. She finished her composition studies in 1991.
Sinta's Gamelan Work
Sinta Wullur started several gamelan groups in the Netherlands. These groups include Tirta and Irama. Since 1992, she has worked with the Widosari gamelan ensemble. She performs as a Javanese singer with them. Sinta uses special gamelan instruments in her music. These instruments are tuned differently. She uses them with her own gamelan group called Multifoon. Sinta has also released music on CDs. One of her recent CDs is called Gong and Strings.
