Sir'Dominic Denzel Pointer (born May 6, 1992) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for Shabab Al Ahli in the Basketball Champions League Asia.
Sir'Dominic played college basketball at St. John's. He was chosen as the 53rd pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Early Life and Inspiration
Sir'Dominic Pointer was born on May 6, 1992, in Detroit, Michigan. His parents are Anthony Nolan and San Pointer. He has two sisters, Connae and his twin, Miz'Unique.
Sir'Dominic shared that his drive to work hard came from his cousin, Michael Robinson. Michael helped him stay in school and encouraged him in basketball. He also helped Sir'Dominic avoid bad influences. Sir'Dominic often used his cousin's picture on social media to show his appreciation.
High School Basketball Journey
Sir'Dominic started his high school basketball career in Roseville, Michigan. He played his first two years at Roseville High School. Later, he moved to Quality Education Academy in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He finished his high school basketball there.
After high school, some experts ranked him highly. They saw him as one of the best small forward players in his age group.
College Career Highlights
During his final year at St. John's, Sir'Dominic Pointer earned a special award. He received the Haggerty Award, which honors the best college basketball player in the New York City area.
He was also named to the All-Big East Second Team. This was because he played very well, averaging 13.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
Professional Basketball Career
Starting with Canton Charge (2015–2016)
On June 25, 2015, the Cleveland Cavaliers picked Sir'Dominic Pointer in the NBA draft. He was the 53rd player chosen overall. On October 30, he joined the Canton Charge. This team is the affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Development League.
He played his first professional game on November 14. He scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in that game. During his time with Canton, he averaged 6.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.
Playing in Israel (2016–2017)
In June 2016, Sir'Dominic played with the Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Summer League. Later, on August 28, 2016, he signed with Hapoel Eilat B.C. in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played only two games there before moving on. He then joined Ironi Kiryat Ata B.C. in the Liga Leumit.
Time with Byblos (2017)
In July 2017, Sir'Dominic played again with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2017 NBA Summer League. On October 16, 2017, he signed with Byblos Club in the Lebanese Basketball League. He played nine games for the team before leaving.
Playing for Alba Fehérvár (2018)
On January 13, 2018, Sir'Dominic Pointer signed with Alba Fehérvár. This is a professional basketball club located in Hungary.
Return to Canton / Cleveland Charge (2018–2021)
Sir'Dominic rejoined the Canton Charge for their training camp in October 2018. He was part of their team roster for the start of the season.
In October 2019, the Cleveland Cavaliers briefly signed and then waived him. He then returned to the Canton Charge for their 2019-2020 season.
On March 4, 2020, Sir'Dominic signed a 10-day contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, the basketball season was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. His contract ended before he could play a game for the Cavaliers. He played for the Charge again in the 2020–21 season.
APOEL (2021–2022)
On July 27, 2021, Sir'Dominic signed with APOEL B.C. in the Cyprus Basketball Division A.
Formosa Taishin Dreamers (2022–2023)
On September 8, 2022, Sir'Dominic joined the Formosa Taishin Dreamers. This team plays in the P. League+ in Taiwan. He left the team on March 18, 2023.
Brno (2023)
On April 14, 2023, Sir'Dominic signed with Basket Brno. This team is part of the National Basketball League in the Czech Republic.
Manama (2023–2024)
On May 20, 2023, Sir'Dominic signed with Manama Club. This team plays in the Bahraini Premier League. On May 29, 2023, he helped Manama win the Bahraini Basketball Cup.
He also won the West Asia Super League (WASL) with Manama. In the final game against Kuwait Club, Sir'Dominic scored 16 points.
Shabab Al Ahli (2024–Present)
In October 2024, Sir'Dominic Pointer re-signed with Shabab Al Ahli. He continues to play for them in the Basketball Champions League Asia.
