Who Was Bruenor the Black?
Bruenor was the son of a very respected knight, Sir Brunor. His father was known as the "Good Knight without Fear." Bruenor had two brothers, Sir Dinadan and Sir Daniel. Sadly, both of his brothers were killed by Sir Lancelot.
The Ill-fitting Coat
Bruenor's father was killed, and Bruenor made a promise. He swore to wear his father's coat, which didn't fit him well, until he got justice for his father's death. This is why he earned the nickname, the Knight of the Ill-fitting Coat.
His Home and Family
Sir Breunor was the lord of Pendragon Castle. He was married to a woman named Maladisant. His story is an important part of the tales of King Arthur's knights.
