A Career in Parliament

From 1698 to 1701, he served as a Member of Parliament for the town of Bedford. This meant he represented the people of Bedford in the English Parliament. His Legacy
Sir Thomas Alston passed away in December 1714. He was likely in London at the time. He never married. Some stories said he had financial problems, but his will showed this was not true.
