Sisley Choi (traditional Chinese: 蔡思貝; simplified Chinese: 蔡思贝; pinyin: Cài Sībèi; Cantonese Yale: Coi3 Si1Bui3) was born on February 6, 1991. She is a talented Hong Kong actress. Sisley works with TVB, a big television company.

Early Life and Exciting Journey

Sisley Choi was born in Hong Kong. Her family comes from Zhongshan, Guangdong. Her father was a police officer. This meant Sisley had a strict but helpful upbringing. She has said that her father's rules helped her become a good person.

Sisley went to Po Primary School and St. Paul Middle School. When she was thirteen, she moved to Oamaru, New Zealand. She lived at Waitaki Girls’ High School from 2005 to 2009. This experience made her want to explore more of the world.

After New Zealand, she went to Germany. She spent three years there as an au pair, helping families with childcare. She also studied ethnology, which is the study of different cultures. While in Germany, she learned to speak German very well!

In 2013, Sisley decided to return to Hong Kong. She joined the Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant. She did very well and won the first runner-up title.

Becoming a Star Actress

After the pageant, Sisley started her acting career. Her first acting role was in the drama Overachievers in 2014. Just one year later, in 2015, she got her first main role in the drama Young Charioteers.

Sisley won a big award in 2017. She received the Most Popular Female Character award at the TVB Anniversary Awards. This was for her role in the legal drama Legal Mavericks.

She won an even bigger award for the sequel, Legal Mavericks 2020. In 2020, she won the TVB Anniversary Award for Best Actress. This made her the first TVB actress born in the 1990s to win this award. She was also the second youngest to win it, after Ada Choi in 1998.

Sisley has a group of close friends. In 2020, she formed a friendship group called "SÏXTERS". Her friends in this group are Winki Lai, Jeannie Chan, Stephanie Ho, Anjaylia Chan, and Cheronna Ng. She is also good friends with Grace Wong, Roxanne Tong, and Vivien Yeo.
