Trevant Hardson, born on October 5, 1970, is a rapper from Los Angeles, USA. He is famous as Slimkid3 or Slim Kid Tre. He helped start the hip hop group The Pharcyde.

Early Career and Dance
Tre Hardson started his career as a dancer. He formed a dance group called Two for Two. His friends Bootie Brown and Imani were also in the group. They appeared in many music videos. They also performed on the TV show In Living Color for a short time.
Joining The Pharcyde
As a member of The Pharcyde, Trevant helped create their first two albums. These were Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde and Labcabincalifornia. He also worked on their third album, Plain Rap. This was after another member, Fatlip, left the group. After Plain Rap was released, Trevant also decided to leave. He wanted to start his own music career.
Solo Music and Collaborations
After leaving The Pharcyde, Trevant began using his birth name, Tre Hardson. He also continued to use his stage name, Slimkid3. He formed a band called Faqawi to help him with his solo music.
In 1996, he produced an album for actor Brian Austin Green. The album was called One Stop Carnival.
His first solo album, Liberation, came out in 2002. He worked on it for three years. Many other artists helped him with this album. Some of them were MC Lyte and Saul Williams.
In 2011, he released an EP with DJ Nu-Mark. An EP is a shorter music album. It was called Another Day Another Dollar. They released a full album together in 2014. This album was called Slimkid3 & DJ Nu-Mark. It was released by Delicious Vinyl.
