Sliven Province is a region in southeastern Bulgaria. Think of a province as a large area, similar to a state or county. The main city and capital of this province is also called Sliven.

Sliven Province is one of the 28 provinces in Bulgaria. It is located in the southeastern part of the country. The province has a total area of about 3,544 square kilometers. This makes it a medium-sized region in Bulgaria.
Cities and Towns
The capital city of the province is Sliven. It is the largest and most important city in the area. Besides Sliven, there are other important towns. These towns are called municipalities. They include Kotel, Nova Zagora, and Tvarditsa. Each municipality has its own local government.
Nature and Parks
Sliven Province is home to beautiful nature. One special place is the Sinite Kamani Nature Park. "Sinite Kamani" means "Blue Stones" in Bulgarian. This park is known for its unique rock formations and lovely landscapes. It is a great place for hiking and enjoying the outdoors.
