History of Sly Park
Sly Park has a simple but interesting history. The name "Sly Park" comes from a person named James Sly. He was one of the Mormons who explored and discovered Sly Valley a long time ago.
Early Post Office
For a period, Sly Park had its own post office. It was open from 1891 to 1919. A post office is where people send and receive letters and packages. Even though it moved a few times, it served the small community for nearly 30 years.
