Sofi Gagiki Mkheyan, born on April 8, 1984, is a talented singer from Armenia. She won the Best Newcomer award at the Armenian National Music Awards in Yerevan in 2005.

Early Life and Education
Sofi Mkheyan was born in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. Her father, Gagik Mkheyan, was a member of the Armenian Parliament. Sofi has one brother named Gor.
She began her singing journey at a young age. She studied at the Doremi Vocal Studio, then at Sayat Music School, and later at Romanos Melikyan Musical College. All these schools are located in Yerevan. After that, she continued her music education at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan.
Music Career and Achievements
Sofi Mkheyan has received several awards for her music. In 2005, she won the Best Newcomer award at the Armenian National Music Awards. She was also named Best Modern Pop Female in 2009 and Best Female Singer in 2010.
As of 2022, Sofi has released four music albums. These albums are Kyanke Qo, Luys Khavarum, 2012, and The Best of Sofi Mkheyan. She has also released many single songs. A music producer named DerHova often works with her. Sofi has also sung with other artists like Sirusho and Vigen Hovsepyan.
In 2007, her song "Ore Yev Nerkan" won the Hit of the Year award at the Armenian National Music Awards. This song was later included in her album Kyange Qo. In 2012, she created a music video for her patriotic song, Hayastani erge (which means Armenia's Song). The video was filmed in both Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh area.
From 2012 to 2017, Sofi Mkheyan was a judge and coach on the TV show The Voice of Armenia. Other judges on the show included Arame, Nune Yesayan, and Sevak Khanagyan.
Personal Life and Interests
Sofi Mkheyan is very involved in her country's affairs and cares deeply about Armenia. In 2020, she took part in a protest. This protest was about a peace agreement signed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan concerning a conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh area.
