Sofía Lecubarri Ruigómez (born 15 November 1993), known by her stage name Sofia Ellar, is a popular British-Spanish singer and songwriter. She was born in London, England, but moved to Madrid, Spain, as a child. This is where her musical adventure began in the early 2000s.
Even while studying for a degree in Business administration at IE University, Sofia's passion for music never stopped. She is famous for being very close to her fans. At her concerts, she often sings right in the middle of the crowd, creating a special and personal experience for everyone.

A Musical Journey
Sofia started her career by performing in small concerts. She quickly became popular, especially online. By September 2017, her music videos on YouTube had millions of views, and her songs on Spotify were streamed over three million times. She has also been a guest on many radio and television shows and has toured all around Spain.
First Album and Big Success
On February 24, 2017, Sofia released her very first album, called Seis peniques. Her first single from the album, titled Segundas partes entre..., was her official entry onto Spotify and helped her reach a wider audience.
Singing for a Cause
Sofia also uses her music to help others. In December 2017, she released a special single called Humanidad en Paro. She announced that all the money made from this song would be given to charities that help people experiencing homelessness.
