What Happens in the Movie?

The Prank War Begins

Three years after the first movie, Red is a hero on Bird Island. The birds and pigs are still having a prank war. The pigs, led by King Leonard Mudbeard, have rebuilt their city.

A New Threat Appears

One day, a huge ice ball hits the ocean near Piggy Island. It came from a nearby place called Eagle Island. This makes the pigs realize they need help. They ask the birds for a temporary truce.

Meet Zeta, the Villain

Zeta is the leader of Eagle Island. She is very angry about her icy home. She plans to take over Bird and Piggy Islands. She uses a super-weapon to shoot ice balls. These balls are meant to make everyone leave their homes.

Forming an Unexpected Team

Red's friends, Chuck and Bomb, surprise him. They go to a speed dating event. There, Red meets Chuck's sister, Silver. She is an engineering student. Silver thinks Red is not a good match for her.

Leonard visits Red and asks him to form an alliance. They decide to team up. They recruit Chuck, Bomb, and Silver. They also ask Bird Island's old hero, Mighty Eagle, to join them.

The Journey to Eagle Island

The team meets in Mighty Eagle's cave. An ice ball from Zeta's weapon hits Eagle Mountain. This warns the other birds on Bird Island. Red tells everyone not to worry.

The team travels to Eagle Island in a submarine. Once they arrive, Mighty Eagle admits something. Zeta was once his fiancée. He left her because he was scared. Then, he flies away.

Inside Zeta's Base

Red wants to fight alone. But Silver follows him. They sneak into Zeta's base through the weapon's mouth. They get caught and frozen onto inflatable water toys.

Zeta tells them her plan. She will fire ice balls filled with lava at both islands. She shows them her new, stronger cannon. Red feels bad for not telling the birds to leave. He tells Silver he just wants everyone to like him. Silver comforts him and helps them both escape.

The Plan to Stop Zeta

Meanwhile, the rest of the team disguises themselves as an eagle. They get a key card to enter the base. They meet up with Red and Silver. Red lets Silver take charge. Silver creates a plan to destroy the cannon.

Red and Silver get inside an ice ball. They roll it down the cannon's spiraling track. Their friends try to cut the track. They need to pull a switch so the ball flies off and hits the cannon.

A Heroic Rescue

The plan doesn't work. Zeta and her guards confront the team. She is about to fire the weapon. Just then, Mighty Eagle arrives! He tries to stop Zeta by saying sorry for leaving her.

Zeta ignores him and reveals his real name is Ethan. She also says her servant, Debbie, is their daughter! While Zeta is distracted, Chuck uses Silver's new invention. It's a super-strong string called Super-String. It catches the lava balls after Zeta fires them.

The string starts to break. Luckily, some hatchlings (baby birds) and piglets (baby pigs) are passing by. They help hold the string. The lava balls slide back into the cannon. This destroys the cannon and the base! Everyone escapes. Mighty Eagle protects Debbie from falling metal. He earns back Zeta's and Debbie's trust.

A Happy Ending

Mighty Eagle and Zeta get married on Bird Island. Red is the main witness. Red gives credit to Silver and the whole team for saving the islands. Because of his honesty, he becomes even more loved. The birds, pigs, and eagles celebrate the wedding. Silver and Red start a relationship.
