Eyal Podell (born November 11, 1975) is an Israeli-American actor and screenwriter. He is well known for his roles in popular TV shows. These include Professor Adrian Korbel in the soap opera The Young and the Restless. He also played Evram Mintz in Defying Gravity. Another key role was Namir Eschel in NCIS.
Eyal Podell also writes movies. He has worked with his partner Jonathon E. Stewart. Together, they wrote stories or screenplays for several animated films. These include Cars 3 (2017), The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019), and Scoob! (2020).

Early life and Education
Eyal Podell was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. His family has a Jewish background. He spent his first two years in Israel. Then, his family moved to the United States for one year. After that, they lived in Hong Kong until Eyal was eight years old.
When he returned to the United States, his family settled in Westchester County, New York. This area is in New York. Eyal went to Byram Hills High School in Armonk. He was classmates with other actors like Sean Maher and David Harbour. Later, he graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Acting and Writing Career
After moving to Los Angeles, Eyal Podell began working in movies and TV shows. His first big movie role was in The Insider. In this film, he played the son of a character played by the famous actor Al Pacino.
Eyal trained to be a classical actor. He studied at the National Theater Institute. This institute is part of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center. More recently, Eyal has appeared on NCIS: New Orleans as Samuel Wilkns. Besides acting, he is also a talented writer for films.
Personal Life and Projects
Eyal Podell is the grandson of Odif and Judy Podell. They were important people who helped create Usonia Homes. This is a modern architectural community in Pleasantville, New York. Eyal is currently working on a film. This movie will tell the story of Usonia Homes.
