Eyal Podell (born November 11, 1975) is an Israeli-American actor and a writer for movies, also known as a screenwriter. You might know him from his work on popular animated films like Cars 3, The Angry Birds Movie 2, and Scoob!.
As an actor, he has appeared in many TV shows. Some of his famous roles include Professor Adrian Korbel in the TV drama The Young and the Restless and Namir Eschel in NCIS.

Early Life and Education
Eyal Podell was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, to a Jewish family. When he was two years old, his family moved from Israel to the United States. They later lived in Hong Kong until he was eight.
After returning to the U.S., his family settled in Westchester County, New York. He went to Byram Hills High School along with other future actors like Sean Maher and David Harbour. After high school, he graduated from Dartmouth College.
Career in Film and Television
Acting on Screen
Podell began his acting career after moving to Los Angeles. He has appeared in many movies and television shows. His first movie role was playing the son of Al Pacino's character in the film The Insider.
He trained as an actor at the National Theater Institute. This helped him build his skills for a variety of roles. Over the years, he has appeared in popular shows like NCIS: New Orleans, The West Wing, and Charmed.
Writing for Movies
Besides acting, Podell is also a talented writer. He often works with his writing partner, Jonathon E. Stewart. Together, they have written the stories or screenplays for several major animated movies.
Their work includes the story for Disney and Pixar's Cars 3 (2017). They also wrote the screenplay for The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019) and the story for the Warner Bros. movie Scoob! (2020), which brought the Scooby-Doo characters to a new generation.
Personal Life
Podell's grandparents, Odif and Judy Podell, were co-founders of a special architectural community called Usonia Homes. This community is known for its unique modern home designs. Podell is interested in this family history and is working on a project to tell the story of Usonia in a film.
