Peter Michael Davidson (born November 16, 1993) is an American comedian, actor, and writer. He started his career in the early 2010s with small roles in TV shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Wild 'n Out.
Pete became famous as a cast member on the TV show Saturday Night Live (SNL). He was on SNL for eight seasons, from 2014 to 2022. After SNL, Davidson starred in and helped create the movie Big Time Adolescence (2019). He also co-wrote and starred in The King of Staten Island (2020) and the TV series Bupkis (2023). Early Life and Family Background
Peter Michael Davidson was born in Staten Island, New York City, on November 16, 1993. His parents are Amy and Scott Matthew Davidson. His father was a firefighter for the New York City Fire Department. Sadly, his father died while working during the September 11 attacks in 2001. He was last seen helping people in the Marriott World Trade Center before the Twin Towers collapsed. Pete was only seven years old at the time, and this event deeply affected him.
Davidson's father had a mix of Jewish, German, Irish, and Italian family roots. His mother is mostly of Irish and German descent. Pete has a younger sister named Casey.
