Early Career at Swindon Town
Sol Davis started his professional football career at Swindon Town. He played more than 130 games for the club. His strong performances as a left-back caught the eye of other teams.
Moving to Luton Town
In August 2002, Sol Davis moved to Luton Town. He quickly became an important player for the team. In the 2004–05 season, Luton Town won the League One title. This was a big achievement for the club. Sol Davis scored his first two professional goals that season. His teammates also voted him as their Player of the Year.
Loan Spell and Return to Luton

Facing a Stroke
On October 28, 2006, Sol Davis experienced a serious health issue. He had a stroke while traveling to a match. He lost feeling on his left side and his speech was affected. He was taken to a special hospital unit for treatment.
Returning to Play
Despite this challenging event, Sol Davis showed great strength and determination. He worked hard to recover. Amazingly, he returned to playing football soon after. He started in a game against Cardiff City on January 1, 2007. His quick return to the field was inspiring to many.
