The town of Somers is a local government area in Wisconsin. Before 2015, the town included the area that is now the village of Somers, plus its current land. In 2015, a new "village of Somers" was officially created. At first, part of the old town stayed separate, but later, it also became part of the village.
Today, the town of Somers is mostly land near or inside the city of Kenosha. It's planned to become part of Kenosha by the year 2035.
