Sophia's Early Life

Sophia Tolli was born in Australia. Her journey into fashion started with her aunt, who was a very skilled dressmaker. Sophia would help her aunt by choosing fabrics for the clothes. This helped Sophia learn a lot about different styles, colors, and materials.

From her early teenage years, Sophia was already sewing. She started making special dresses for school proms, bridesmaids, and even wedding gowns for people. She loved design so much that she continued to study it when she went to college.

Designing Beautiful Dresses

Sophia worked for 10 years as a main designer at a company called Maggie Sottero. Then, in 2006, she teamed up with Mon Cheri to create her very own collection of dresses.

Her designs include many different styles, like big, puffy ball gowns without straps, and A-line dresses that are fitted at the top and flow out at the bottom. She also designs dresses with neck straps (halters) and slim skirts. Sophia's dresses are known for fitting perfectly and often have pretty draped or corset-style backs.

Sophia likes to give her dresses fun names inspired by popular movies and TV shows. For example, some of her collections are named after characters from famous stories like The Hunger Games and Game of Thrones!

Later, Sophia also created a "Special Occasion" collection with Mon Cheri. These are cocktail dresses perfect for bridesmaids, young mothers, and events like school homecomings and proms.
