Soudabeh Moradian (in Persian: سودابه مرادیان) is an Iranian-American filmmaker. She makes independent movies. Many of her films have been shown at big international film festivals. Lots of them have also won awards!

Soudabeh has made many documentary series. These often focus on women in rural Iran. She also makes films about important social issues. Her movies often explore how big events like war can affect people's minds. Some of her well-known films include Polaris, Doomsday Machine, and My Name Is Tomorrow.

Besides making films, Soudabeh also teaches. She has taught at film schools and colleges. Currently, she is a film professor at Syracuse University in New York.

Soudabeh Moradian was born in Tehran, Iran. She started her career in filmmaking in 1996. This is when she began directing, writing film scripts (called screenwriting), and editing movies.
