About the Southern Whitetip

What It Looks Like

The Southern Whitetip is a large damselfly. It has a very thin body. Its color is a dull bronze-black. It also has some white markings on its body.

When this damselfly rests, it often keeps its wings spread out. This is a common way to spot them.
