Space Chickens in Space is a super fun animated TV show! It was created by José C. García de Letona and Rita Street. This exciting series is a team effort from Australia, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

The show is a mix of comedy and sci-fi, with a bit of a "surreal" (meaning super weird and imaginative) twist. It was brought to life by Ánima Estudios in Mexico and Studio Moshi in Australia. The show was also co-produced by Gingerbread Animation and Disney EMEA.

Plot of Space Chickens in Space

Imagine being a chicken, then suddenly you're in space! That's what happens to Chuck, Starley, and Finley. These three chicken siblings are accidentally sent to a super fancy space academy. It's not just any school; it's a former military academy for aliens!

To survive, they have to work together. Each episode is a new, wacky adventure where they use their unique skills. They learn to be a team and face all sorts of challenges in space.

Main Characters

Meet the three main chicken heroes of the show!

  • Chuck (voiced by David Menkin) is the youngest chicken sibling. He's the leader of the group. Chuck is cool, brave, and a bit silly. Sometimes he can be a little stubborn, especially when there's a challenge. But deep down, he really cares about his brother and sister. Did you know he's allergic to "Monstonuts"? He was also once a scout!
  • Finley (voiced by Nick Mohammed) is the oldest of the three chickens. He's the super smart one, the "brains" of the family. Finley is curious and usually very calm. However, he can get a bit grumpy if no one thinks his ideas are good. Like Chuck, Finley was also a scout in the past.
  • Starley (voiced by Laura Aikman) is the middle sister. She's the loving and caring one. Starley always looks out for her brothers. She will defend them no matter what. She also has amazing super strength! When she was a little chick, Starley even won a "Cuddlebug Contest."

How the Show Was Made

Space Chickens in Space was animated at Studio Moshi in Australia. They used a special animation style. It combined hand-drawn art with computer-generated parts. This helped create the unique look of the show. Studio Moshi also helped with the character designs and the world of the show. They worked on storyboards, animation, and special effects.

Release Dates

The show first aired in Australia on 9Go! on September 30, 2018. Later, it premiered on Disney XD in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa on November 19, 2018. It also came out in Russia on 2x2 on January 1, 2020.
