Spencer is a village in Spencer Township located in Medina County, Ohio, United States. The population was 684 at the 2020 census.

History
A post office called Spencer has been in operation since 1849. The village takes its name from Spencer Township.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.00 square mile (2.59 km2), of which, 0.99 square miles (2.56 km2) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 km2) is water.

2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 753 people, 283 households, and 203 families living in the village. The population density was 760.6 inhabitants per square mile (293.7/km2). There were 306 housing units at an average density of 309.1 per square mile (119.3/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 97.5% White, 0.1% African American, 0.1% Native American, 0.3% Asian, 0.5% from other races, and 1.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.1% of the population.
There were 283 households, of which 37.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.2% were married couples living together, 9.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.7% had a male householder with no wife present, and 28.3% were non-families. 23.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 3.09.
The median age in the village was 37.3 years. 27.5% of residents were under the age of 18; 8.3% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 25.7% were from 25 to 44; 24.3% were from 45 to 64; and 13.9% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 49.4% male and 50.6% female.
