Her Music Journey

Spensha Baker started singing when she was very young. In 2004, she was a contestant on a TV show called Star Search. She even performed at the White House for President George W. Bush.

She released her first album, Outloud!. Spensha explained the name. She said she lives her life "Openly." She wants to "succeed and fail out loud." She also wants to "laugh out loud, breathe out loud, love out loud, and live out loud." She felt it was a message for everyone.

Competing on The Voice

During the Live Playoffs, Blake Shelton chose her to move to the Top 12. In the Top 12 week, Spensha sang "Down on My Knees". She continued to the Top 11.

For Top 11 week, she sang "Better Man". This helped her advance to the Top 10. In Top 10 week, she performed "Red" by Taylor Swift. She then moved to the semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, Spensha sang "My Church". This song became very popular on iTunes. It reached #10, which gave her extra votes. She also sang a duet with Kyla Jade. They performed "What's Going On" and "Rise Up".

In the finals, Spensha Baker finished in fourth place. The winners were Brynn Cartelli, Britton Buchanan, and Kyla Jade.
