Where is Spokane Located?
Spokane is found in the northeastern part of Concordia Parish. It sits on the southwest side of a lake called Lake St. John. Lake St. John is an interesting type of lake known as an oxbow lake. This means it used to be a bend in the Mississippi River a long time ago, but the river changed its path, leaving this curved lake behind.
You can reach Spokane by taking Louisiana State Highway 568. This highway goes southwest from Spokane for about 7 miles (11 km) to a town called Ferriday.
