Spy School is a fun comedy-drama movie from 2008. It was also known by other names like Doubting Thomas or Lies and Spies in some places. Even though it came out in 2008, the movie was actually filmed a few years earlier, in the summer of 2005, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The main actors in the film are Forrest Landis and AnnaSophia Robb. The story is all about a boy named Thomas Miller and his exciting adventures as he tries to save the President's daughter from being kidnapped.

The Story of Spy School
Thomas, the School Prankster
The movie begins by showing us Thomas Miller, a twelve-year-old boy who loves to cause a bit of trouble at school. He often gets into small fights and makes jokes in class. This means he sometimes gets into trouble with his teachers and the principal.
One day, Thomas is caught fighting another student. The school principal, Principal Hampton, has to step in to stop them. Later, in Ms. Bleckner's class, Thomas is assigned detention for not paying attention and goofing off.
A Secret Plot Discovered
While Thomas is in detention, Ms. Bleckner decides to leave for a bit to get her nails and hair done. Thomas sees his chance and sneaks out. He heads to the library to read and chat with his friends.
On his way, he accidentally overhears someone talking on a cellphone about a secret plan. This person is discussing a plot to kidnap the President's daughter! Thomas is really scared by what he hears and quickly leaves the area.
Meeting the FBI Agents
After hearing the scary plot, Thomas meets an FBI agent named Randal. Randal tells Thomas that he is already looking into this kind of case. Thomas explains everything he heard, and then they both go to meet another FBI agent named Albert.
Randal, Albert, and Thomas all start to believe that the kidnapper plans to act during the school dance that weekend. Thomas decides to invite his friend Jackie to the dance to help him look for clues.
Sneaking into the Dance
When Thomas and Jackie try to get into the school dance, Principal Hampton and Ms. Bleckner stop them. They tell them they can't come in. But Thomas and Jackie are determined! They find a way to sneak into the dance anyway. Once inside, they continue their search to find out who the bad guy is.
Randal's Discovery and Capture
Albert joins Thomas and Jackie in their search around the dance floor. Meanwhile, Agent Randal goes off to look for clues on his own. He soon finds the person who is planning the kidnapping.
However, the villain realizes Randal has found them. To keep their secret safe, the villain attacks Randal with a broom. Randal is knocked out and dragged away so he can't tell anyone what he knows.
The Janitor's Secret
Albert, Thomas, and Jackie keep looking for clues at the dance, but they don't find anything obvious. Still, they have a strange feeling that something is wrong. At the same time, Ms. Bleckner is walking around as a hall monitor. She hears strange banging noises coming from the janitor's closet.
Curious and a bit suspicious, she opens the closet door. Inside, she finds Agent Randal tied up and unable to speak! She quickly frees him. Randal then tells her that the school janitor is the villain they are looking for.
Stopping the Kidnapper
Ms. Bleckner and Randal rush back to the dance floor. Ms. Bleckner shouts that the Janitor is the bad guy and that she just saved Randal's life. The Janitor gets very angry when he is exposed. He quickly grabs the President's daughter and tries to run away.
Albert, Randal, Thomas, and Jackie all chase after him. The chase leads them to a helicopter. Thomas bravely jumps onto the helicopter. He sneaks up on the Janitor and manages to knock him out. Thomas then sets the helicopter to fly on its own.
Soon, the SWAT Team and the National Guard arrive with their special gear. They safely get Thomas and the President's daughter off the helicopter. Everyone sees Thomas as a hero, and a big celebration is held to honor him!
