Kyle Alfonso Myricks, known as Stalley, is an American rapper. He was born on October 30, 1982. Stalley grew up in Massillon, Ohio.

Stalley's Music Journey

Stalley started his music career in 2008. He released his first mixtape, Goin Ape, with Terry Urban. In 2009, he released another mixtape called MadStalley: The Autobiography. This helped him become known for his strong stage performances. Stalley was even a special guest at the 2010 Iron Mic Competition in Beijing.

Joining Maybach Music Group

Stalley signed a deal with Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group (MMG) label. He worked with producers like Ski Beatz on songs such as "Address" and "S.T.A.L.L.E.Y.". Other artists like Rashad Thomas and J. Rawls also joined him on tracks.

Stalley was featured on Curren$y's album Pilot Talk in 2010. He also appeared on Ski Beatz's projects, 24 Hour Karate School and 24 Hour Karate School, Pt. 2. In 2011, ESPN asked Stalley to create sports-themed music for their TV shows.

His mixtape Lincoln Way Nights was released in February 2011. It was downloaded over 130,000 times. The album also reached number 2 on Bandcamp for hip hop releases. Later in 2011, Lincoln Way Nights debuted at number 18 on the iTunes hip hop charts. Stalley also appeared on Maybach Music Group albums like Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. He was also on Rick Ross's mixtape Rich Forever and his album God Forgives, I Don't.

In March 2012, Stalley released his mixtape Savage Journey To The American Dream. It had 100,000 downloads in its first week. Many music critics gave it good reviews. The mixtape was mostly produced by Block Beattaz. Stalley's song "Swangin" came out in March 2013. It featured Scarface and used a beat from G-Side's song "Swangin". The music video for "Swangin" was released in July 2013. It even had a cameo from Paul Wall.

His mixtape Honest Cowboy received positive reviews from critics. It was nominated for "Best Mixtape" at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards. Stalley then released Honest Cowboy: EP on iTunes in September 2013. This was on the same day as MMG's album Self Made Vol. 3.

On August 22, 2014, Stalley announced his first album, Ohio. It was released on October 27, 2014. Almost a year later, in August 2015, Stalley released a seven-track mixtape called The Laughing Introvert. In January 2016, he released his seventh mixtape, Saving Yusuf.

Becoming an Independent Artist

In 2017, Stalley released two more albums, New Wave and Another Level. These were released through Real Talk Entertainment. In an interview in August 2017, Stalley confirmed he was now an independent artist. This means he was releasing music on his own.

He continued his independent releases with the Tell The Truth: Shame the Devil EP in late 2017. This was the first part of a three-part series. Volumes 2 and 3 were released in 2018.

On November 1, 2019, Stalley released an album called Reflection Of Self: The Head Trip. This album was fully produced by Jansport J. Stalley released it himself through his Blue Collar Gang company.

Stalley also announced a project called Blacklight. This album was entirely produced by Apollo Brown. It was released on November 19, 2021, through the independent Mello Music Group label. The album features other rappers like Joell Ortiz and Skyzoo.

Personal Life
