Stanford Samuels Jr. was born on July 27, 1980. He is a former professional Canadian football player who played as a cornerback. Today, he works as a recruiting coordinator for the Louisville Cardinals football team.
Samuels started his professional journey when he was signed by the Indianapolis Colts in 2004. He played college football for Florida State. Throughout his career, he also played for teams like the Edmonton Eskimos, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and Montreal Alouettes.

Playing Football: Stanford's Journey
Starting with the Colts
After the 2004 NFL draft, Stanford Samuels Jr. was not chosen by any team right away. However, he soon signed with the Indianapolis Colts. He joined their training camp, but was later released before the regular season began.
First Time with the Blue Bombers
In 2005, Samuels joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Canada. He played his first game for Winnipeg against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He played in almost all of the team's games that season, showing off his skills. He was one of the top players on the team for making tackles and recovering fumbles.
In 2006, Samuels continued to play well for Winnipeg. Even though he missed some games due to injuries, he was still a key player. He helped his team by knocking down passes and making interceptions. He even blocked a punt during a game, which was a big play for his team.
Time with the Edmonton Eskimos

Back with the Blue Bombers
Stanford Samuels Jr. returned to the Blue Bombers in July 2008. He quickly became an important player again, leading the team in fumble recoveries and ranking second in interceptions. He played with them until February 2009.
Playing for the Montreal Alouettes
In February 2009, Samuels signed with the Montreal Alouettes. He played for them for a couple of seasons before being released in July 2010.
