The Star Keys are a small group of five rocky islands. You can find them in the Chatham Archipelago. This archipelago is part of New Zealand. The Star Keys are about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) east of Pitt Island. In the Moriori and Māori languages, these islands are known as Motuhope. New Zealand's South Island is about 800 kilometers (500 miles) to the west.
