State Line, South Carolina facts for kids
State Line is a small place in Cherokee County, South Carolina. It's called an unincorporated community because it doesn't have its own local government, like a city or town. Instead, it's managed by the county.
History of State Line
State Line got its name because it's located very close to the border between South Carolina and North Carolina. A post office opened here in 1875, helping people send and receive mail. It stayed open for many years, until 1904.
