Stefania Spampinato (born on July 17, 1982) is an actress from Italy. She is famous for playing Dr. Carina DeLuca in the TV shows Grey's Anatomy and Station 19. Dr. DeLuca is an Italian doctor who helps with babies.

Early Life and Journey to Acting
Stefania Spampinato was born in Catania, a city in Sicily, Italy. She started learning to dance when she was just six years old. After finishing high school with great grades, she moved to Milan. There, she continued to study dance, acting, and singing. She even graduated from an Academy of Arts!
In 2006, Stefania moved to London. Her dancing career allowed her to travel all around the world. Then, in 2011, she moved to Los Angeles, USA. This is where she kept studying acting to become the star she is today.
Becoming a TV Star
Stefania Spampinato started her TV journey with small parts in shows like Glee and Satisfaction.
In 2017, she joined the cast of Grey's Anatomy. This is a very popular TV show about doctors. Stefania played Dr. Carina DeLuca. Her character was the sister of another doctor, Dr. Andrew DeLuca. Later, Dr. Carina DeLuca also became the wife of Lt. Maya Bishop.
