Stephen Keith Lang (born March 24, 1949 – died February 4, 2017) was a talented Canadian musician. He played the bass guitar and was famous for being part of the rock band April Wine. He played with them from 1976 to 1984, which was a very successful time for the band.

Steve Lang's Music Career
Joining April Wine
Steve Lang joined the band April Wine in 1976. He took over from their previous bass player, Jim Clench. That same year, he helped record their fifth studio album. This album was called The Whole World's Goin' Crazy.
Leaving the Band
Steve Lang left April Wine in 1984. After leaving the band, he decided to work in the financial field. Jim Clench, the original bass player, rejoined April Wine after Steve left. Jim played bass until the band broke up in 1986.
Later Years
April Wine got back together for a tour in 1992. Steve Lang was asked to rejoin the band. However, he chose to continue with his investment business. Jim Clench then returned to play bass for the band again. Jim Clench passed away in 2010.
