Steven Ogg is a Canadian actor. He is famous for playing Trevor Philips in the 2013 video game Grand Theft Auto V. He is also well-known for his role as Simon in the TV show The Walking Dead. You might have also seen him in Better Call Saul, a show connected to Breaking Bad.

Steven Ogg was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He grew up in a city called Calgary.

After moving to New York City, Steven Ogg started acting in TV shows. Some of his early roles were in Law & Order and Third Watch. He also performed in plays and did voice acting. He took a break from acting in 2003 but came back in 2008.

After his break, he was hired by Rockstar Games. He provided the voice and movements for Trevor Philips in their popular 2013 video game, Grand Theft Auto V. His character was very popular with players and critics. He even won an award in February 2014 for Best Overall Acting in a Game. This award was from the New York Videogame Critics Circle. Ogg later played Trevor again in a short film called GTA VR.

Steven Ogg also appeared in Better Call Saul. He played a character named Sobchak. Sobchak was a private detective who worked for others. In one episode, he had a disagreement with another character, Mike Ehrmantraut. Mike showed that Sobchak wasn't as tough as he seemed.

In The Walking Dead, Steven Ogg played Simon. Simon was a member of a group called the Saviors. He was one of the main bad guys in the show's seventh season. Ogg also acted in the HBO series Westworld. He voiced Professor Venomous in the cartoon OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes. In 2019, he played Flexon in the show The Tick.

Steven Ogg knows that he often plays "crazy" or "unpredictable" characters. He said he doesn't mind this if it means he gets to keep working. However, he also likes to try different kinds of roles. For example, he played a father in the 2019 movie The Short History of the Long Road.

Personal life

Steven Ogg is a single father. He has one son named Bodhi. Interestingly, the personal car of his character in Grand Theft Auto V is named after his son.
