Stevie Stone is an American rapper whose real name is Stephen Lewis Williams. He was born on July 28, 1981, in Columbia, Missouri. Stevie Stone is known for his exciting hip hop music. He was part of the Strange Music record label from 2011 to 2021. After that, he started his own music company called Ahdasee Records. He has released many studio albums, including Black Lion. His most recent album, Raising The Bar, came out in April 2022.
Stevie Stone's Music Journey
Stevie Stone grew up in Columbia, Missouri, and now lives in St. Louis. He fell in love with music because of his mom. She was a singer and a choir director. She introduced him to gospel, blues, and soul music when he was young.
As he got older, Stevie Stone was good at both music and sports. He played basketball and also learned to play the piano and drums. He even had a chance to play basketball for a college. But just weeks before he was supposed to leave, he got an offer to perform at a music show. He decided to follow his dream of becoming a rapper instead.
In 2007, Stevie Stone signed with Ruthless Records. This company released his first album, New Kid Coming, on September 29, 2009. Soon after, he joined Tech N9ne's Strange Music label.
His second album, Rollin' Stone, was released on June 12, 2012. He also released a shorter album called an EP, titled Momentum, on October 23, 2012. His third album, 2 Birds 1 Stone, came out on August 13, 2013.
In 2021, Stevie Stone shared that he had left Strange Music. He then announced his new record label, Ahdasee Records. He released his first song as an independent artist since 2009, called "Jumping Out The Window."
