Ungmennafélagið Stjarnan, often called Stjarnan, is a cool sports club from Iceland. Its name means "The Star Youth Club". It's located in Garðabær, a town in Iceland. Stjarnan is famous for many sports, including handball, football, basketball, volleyball, and gymnastics. The club was started in 1960 and has grown a lot since then!

Men's Basketball Achievements
The Stjarnan men's basketball team plays in the Úrvalsdeild karla, which is the highest league in Iceland. They have been a strong team in this league for many years.
Women's Basketball Achievements
The Stjarnan women's basketball team made history in 2015. They won their division and earned a spot in the Úrvalsdeild kvenna. This is the top women's basketball league in Iceland. They have been playing there ever since!
Football
Stjarnan is also very successful in football, with both men's and women's teams achieving great things.
Men's Football Achievements
The men's football team has been playing in the top Icelandic league, Úrvalsdeild karla, since 2009. In 2014, they had an amazing season! They won their first-ever league title without losing a single game. They also set a record by earning 52 points that season.
Women's Football Achievements
The Stjarnan women's football team plays in Iceland's top league, Úrvalsdeild kvenna. They won the championship in 2011, even before the season ended! They also reached the final of the Icelandic Women's Cup in 1993 and 2010. In 2012, they finally won the cup by beating Valur 1-0. The team had another incredible year in 2013, winning their second league title by winning every single game!
Handball
Stjarnan has very strong handball teams, especially the women's team, which has won many championships.
