Storm Mountain is a cool mountain located on West Falkland in the Falkland Islands. It stands tall at about 1,709 feet (521 m) (which is 521 meters) and is actually the 9th highest peak in the Falkland Islands!
This mountain gets its name because it's in a very exposed spot. It sits on a narrow piece of land that sticks out into the big, open South Atlantic Ocean. With Byron Sound on one side and King George Bay on the other, it often experiences strong winds and stormy weather.

Where is Storm Mountain?
Storm Mountain is found on West Falkland, which is one of the two main islands that make up the Falkland Islands. These islands are located far out in the South Atlantic Ocean, east of South America. West Falkland is known for its rugged landscapes and many hills and mountains.
