The Stripe-throated Bulbul (Pycnonotus finlaysoni) is a cool songbird that lives in Southeast Asia. It's also sometimes called the Streak-throated Bulbul. This bird is part of the bulbul family, which are small to medium-sized passerine birds.

What Does It Look Like?
The Stripe-throated Bulbul is about 20 cm (8 in) long. Both male and female birds look pretty much the same. They are mostly a dull brown color. But look closely at their face, throat, and upper chest! These areas have bright yellow streaks, which is how they got their name.
Their wings have yellowish edges, and their outer tail feathers are also yellowish. Their lower chest and belly have white streaks. The area around their bottom (called the vent) is yellow. Young birds look similar to adults, but their yellow colors are not as bright.
