Stroiești is a small community, also called a commune, located in the northeastern part of Romania. It is found in Suceava County, which is part of a historical region known as Bukovina.
The commune of Stroiești is made up of three smaller villages. These villages are Stroiești itself, Vâlcelele, and Zaharești.
How Stroiești is Governed
Stroiești has a local council that helps run the commune. This council is made up of people chosen by the community in elections. They make decisions about local matters, like public services and community projects.
In the most recent local elections held in 2020, different political groups won seats on the council. The National Liberal Party (PNL) won the most seats, with nine members. Two other parties, PRO Romania (PRO) and the Social Democratic Party (PSD), each won two seats.
This mix of parties means that different ideas are brought to the council meetings. They work together to decide what is best for the people living in Stroiești and its villages.
