Before joining Mis-Teeq, she was studying business at Middlesex University. She has four sisters: Lisa, Chrystina, Helena, and Savannah.

Mis-Teeq was a famous girl group. Su-Elise was a key member alongside Sabrina Washington and Alesha Dixon. The group released many popular R&B and hip hop songs.

After Mis-Teeq stopped performing together, Su-Elise decided to continue her education. She earned special teaching qualifications. She then opened her very own performing arts school.
