Early Life and Mis-Teeq
Su-Elise Nash was born in Dulwich, a part of London, England. Her family background includes both Jamaican and English heritage. Even as a child, Su-Elise loved to perform in various talent shows. Before joining Mis-Teeq, she was studying business at Middlesex University. She has four sisters: Lisa, Chrystina, Helena, and Savannah.
Mis-Teeq was a famous girl group. Su-Elise was a key member alongside Sabrina Washington and Alesha Dixon. The group released many popular R&B and hip hop songs.
After Mis-Teeq: Education and Teaching
After Mis-Teeq stopped performing together, Su-Elise decided to continue her education. She earned special teaching qualifications. She then opened her very own performing arts school. This school is called the "Su-Elise Stage School" and is located in Gravesend, Kent. It helps young people learn about performing.
Solo Music and TV Appearances
In September 2009, Su-Elise Nash shared exciting news. She was working on her first solo album. It was going to be called Long Way Round. She said the album would continue the R&B style that Mis-Teeq was known for.
