Sue Anna Ramirez Garina Dodd (born July 20, 1996) is a Filipino actress, model, and singer. She started her acting journey in 2010. Her first big role was in the TV drama Mula sa Puso in 2011. Since then, she has appeared in many popular TV shows. These include Angelito: Batang Ama (2011–12), Annaliza (2013–14), Pangako Sa 'Yo (2015), and Dolce Amore (2016). She was also nominated for an award as a New Movie Actress for the film Just the Way You Are.

Early Life and Family
Sue Anna Garina Dodd was born in Parañaque, Philippines. Her mother, Concepcion Garina, is from Sipalay City, Negros Occidental. Her father, James Peter Dodd, was an American who worked for the US government.
Sue is the youngest of five children. She has two older sisters and two older brothers. She is the only one in her family who has both Filipino and American citizenship. She went to high school at Sacred Heart School in Parañaque. Sadly, Sue's father passed away in 2013.
Starting Her Career
In 2010, Sue auditioned for Star Magic, a talent agency. She sang "Angels Brought Me Here" and was accepted. Her first project was a teen variety show called Shoutout! She wanted to work in show business to help pay for her father's medical care.
Sue's first acting role was Nicole Matias in the TV show Mula sa Puso. Her character was the daughter of the bad guys but became friends with the main hero. Later that year, she had a small role in the movie Aswang. She also appeared in the TV drama Angelito: Batang Ama.
In 2012, Sue got another important role in the TV show Oka2kat. She played Luna, a girl who could see the future. She worked with Paul Salas in this show. She also continued her role in the sequel Angelito: Ang Bagong Yugto.
More Acting Roles
In 2013, Sue starred as Luisa "Louie" Celerez in Annaliza. This show was a remake of an older TV series. In 2014, she appeared in more TV shows like Maalaala Mo Kaya – Panyo and Ipaglaban Mo: Ang Totoong Ako. She also had a special part in the comedy drama Dream Dad.
Becoming Well-Known
In 2015, Sue appeared in several episodes of Wansapanataym. She also played a special role in the remake of the film Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita. She was a contestant on the game show Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal and won ₱100,000.
Sue became even more popular when she joined the TV series Pangako Sa 'Yo in 2015. She played Joy "Ligaya" Miranda, who was part of a love triangle with the main characters. That same year, she was nominated for "New Movie Actress of the Year" for her role in Just the Way You Are.
In 2016, Sue played Angel in Dolce Amore, the biological sister of the main character. She also became the new "Honorary Tourism Ambassador for Korea to the Philippines." In 2017, she appeared in the fantasy drama My Dear Heart and the reality show I Can Do That. She also reunited with the "Kathniel" love team in La Luna Sangre.
Later in 2017, Sue starred in the horror movie The Debutantes. She also joined the main cast of the TV series Hanggang Saan and was part of the movie Meant to Beh: Ika-something na Utos.
Recent Projects
In 2018, Sue starred in the romantic movie Ang Babaeng Allergic sa WiFi. She also appeared in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano as Marie. In 2019, she played a role in the film Cuddle Weather.
In 2020, she joined the cast of A Soldier's Heart. In 2022, she played Lexy Lucero in the TV series The Broken Marriage Vow. She also appeared in The Iron Heart as Venus Magbanua.
Personal Life
Sue Ramirez was in a relationship with actor and dancer Joao Constancia from 2017 to 2019. She then dated actor and politician Javi Benitez from 2019 to 2024. As of July 2025, she is in a relationship with actor Dominic Roque.
