Sue Anna Ramirez Garina Dodd (born July 20, 1996) is a Filipino actress, model, and singer. She is well-known for her roles in many popular TV shows. Her first big role was in the TV drama Mula sa Puso in 2011. She has also appeared in other famous shows like Pangako Sa 'Yo (2015), Dolce Amore (2016), and The Broken Marriage Vow (2022). Sue was nominated for New Movie Actress of the Year for her work in the film Just the Way You Are.

Early Life and Family
Sue Ramirez was born as Sue Anna Garina Dodd in Parañaque, Philippines. Her mother, Concepcion Garina, is Filipino. Her father, James Peter Dodd, was an American officer who worked for the United States government.
Sue is the youngest of five children. She has two older sisters and two older brothers. She is the only one in her family who has both Filipino and American citizenship. Sue went to high school at Sacred Heart School in Parañaque. Sadly, her father passed away in 2013.
Starting Her Acting Journey
Sue Ramirez began her career in entertainment in 2010. She auditioned for Star Magic, a talent agency, by singing a song. She was accepted and her first project was a teen variety show called Shoutout! on ABS-CBN. Sue wanted to join show business to help pay for her father's medical care.
Her first acting role was as Nicole Matias in the TV series Mula sa Puso. In this show, her character went against her parents and became friends with the main hero. The series started in March 2011. Later that year, Sue also appeared in her first movie, Aswang. She then had a supporting role in the TV drama Angelito: Batang Ama.
Key Roles and Breakthroughs
In 2012, Sue Ramirez got another important role in the TV series !Oka Tokat. She played Luna, a character who could see the future. This role helped her become more well-known. She also worked with Paul Salas in this series.
From 2013 to 2014, Sue starred as Luisa "Louie" Celerez in the ABS-CBN show Annaliza. She also appeared in episodes of the drama series Maalaala Mo Kaya and Ipaglaban Mo!.
In 2015, Sue became even more popular when she joined the TV series Pangako Sa 'Yo. She played Joy "Ligaya" Miranda, a character who was part of the main love story. That same year, she was nominated for an award for her role in the movie Just the Way You Are.
In 2016, Sue played Angel in the popular show Dolce Amore. She also became an Honorary Tourism Ambassador for Korea to the Philippines. In 2017, she appeared in the fantasy drama La Luna Sangre and the horror movie The Debutantes. She also joined the TV series Hanggang Saan.
Recent Projects
In 2018, Sue starred in the romantic movie Ang Babaeng Allergic sa WiFi. She also appeared in the long-running action series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano as Marie.
In 2020, she joined the cast of A Soldier's Heart. In 2022, Sue played Lexy Lucero in the TV series The Broken Marriage Vow, which was a big role for her. She also appeared in The Iron Heart in 2022 and 2023.

Sue Ramirez has been in relationships with other actors. She dated actor and dancer Joao Constancia from 2017 to 2019. She was also in a relationship with actor and politician Javi Benitez from 2019 to 2024. Currently, she is dating actor Dominic Roque.
